A Silly Story
Once upon a time, there was a floating rock in space called Tiny Planet.
On it lived a passionate community full of good ideas, hardworking people, and big dreams. They wanted to share those dreams with the world.
But space was vast.
Other planets were brighter, louder, easier to find.
So the people tried everything.
They launched rockets called Ads.
They built landing pads called Websites.
They raised flags called Social Media.
Still, visitors came and went… and often got lost.
The universe felt big. Too big.
Then one day, a small ship arrived with some friendly faces.
It didn’t bring noise or big promises.
It brought something better: a roadmap.
The crew looked closely at the setup and gently said:
“Everything you’ve built is good…it’s just not working together yet.”
So they assessed the landscape and identified the levers that would create the most impact.
They redesigned and recalibrated the rockets.
They rebuilt the landing pads.
They clarified the objectives.
Slowly but surely, things began to change.
The right visitors started finding their way (and staying).

Founder and Lead Strategist
After graduating from UBC’s Sauder School of Business, Julie quickly recognized a gap in the marketing industry: many digital marketing agencies were either overly specialized or overly transactional. They focused on tactics without truly understanding the business behind them.
Tiny Planet Digital was created to bring clarity to complex marketing decisions.
The team partners closely with clients to develop integrated strategies across paid media, SEO, and digital experience that is grounded in data, aligned with business goals, and designed for long-term impact.
With experience across various industries such as hotel, hospitality, B2B, manufacturing and more, Julie and her team are known for delivering high-touch, values-driven work that goes beyond surface-level execution.
Beyond her work with clients, Julie is deeply committed to community and mentorship. She actively supports emerging entrepreneurs, marketing professionals and community initiatives through organizations such as YELL Canada and Yi Ping Collective to foster a more inclusive and thoughtful industry.
In the last few years, Julie’s contributions to the digital marketing industry and her community have been widely recognized through awards like BC Business’s Top 30 Under 30 and the Woman of the Year.

Outside the office, Kieran is a fitness enthusiast who also has a bit of a sweet tooth. When he’s not strategizing campaigns, you’ll likely catch him at the gym or at the newest donut shop. David is a digital marketing strategist with over 15 years of hands-on experience across SEO, paid media, analytics, and growth strategy. Since 2010, he’s helped brands of all sizes (startups, post-secondary institutions, e-commerce brands, non-profits, tourism boards, and many more) build smarter campaigns that actually move the needle.
Rheannon Armstrong
Social Media Manager
Rheannon brings great people skills to the team from her days as a bartender before making the switch to the world of digital marketing. As our lead social media manager, Rheannon has always been driven by the creative side of media and its ability to bring a brand to life with its audience. When she’s not making posts, Rheannon is enjoying the great outdoors, often hiking, camping, or just relaxing in the sun.
Kevin Terrell
Web Developer
With his background in film, video, and animation, Kevin built his first website as an online portfolio for this creative work. Shortly after, Kevin developed a passion for designing websites and learning new code. Leveraging his creative muscles in a logical fashion, web design was a perfect fit. When he’s not coding, Kevin enjoys getting outside and active whether its hiking or simply tossing a frisbee.
