Tiny Planet Digital Wrapped 2022

Tiny Planet Digital’s Year-End Recap

As 2022 comes to a close, we figured it’d be a great time to reflect on the past year. We’re proud of our value-aligned initiatives, focussing on sustainability, non-profits, and youth professional development. We also got to work with some amazing clients to help them reach new heights in their marketing. Overall, this has been our biggest year yet, and we can’t wait for what’s next.

Our 2nd Annual Sustainable Growth Contest

Tiny Planet Digital Sustainable Growth Contest SGC UN 17 SDG

Our Sustainable Growth Contest was a tremendous success this year. We set out to spread awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations and awarded organizations that strive to address some of these challenges. Throughout the contest, we met many new organizations doing incredible things for people and our planet. Ultimately, we chose the Food Stash Foundation and The United Nations Association in Canada as this year’s winners, awarding each organization over $2,500 in marketing services. Learn more about the contest here, and keep an eye out for our case studies on the winners!

Our Google Ads for Non-Profits Webinar

Google Ads grant for non profits free webinar

Most people don’t know about Google’s Ad grant for non-profit organizations, offering up to $10,000 per month for their advertising budget. To spread the news about these grants, we hosted a free webinar discussing the ins and outs of Google Ads. We spent some time showing non-profits how to apply for the Google Ads grant and what a grant account can do. From there, we shared some of our handy tips for success and gave an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and get personalized advice from our experts. We’ll be sure to host this webinar again for those who missed out, so keep an eye out for announcements on our Instagram, LinkedIn, and in our newsletters!

Attended the UNA Environmental Festival!

United Nations Association in Canada 2022 Environmental Festival at UBC

We had a fantastic time at the UBC Environmental Festival hosted by the UNAC. Tiny Planet Digital had a booth for students and others to visit and learn how we’re getting involved through green marketing and supporting responsible organizations. At the event, we also met some incredible people and organizations focused on environmental initiatives. We can’t wait to attend once again next year!

We Welcomed Some New Faces

Since the founding of Tiny Planet Digital, we have focused on sharing our expertise and offering development opportunities to post-secondary students. One of the primary ways we’ve done this is through project-based internship programs. In 2022, we brought in 5 interns through various internship programs and created projects based on our sales, social media, and email marketing. These students got hands-on experience working in various areas of marketing, and some are staying with us for 2023 as well!

We’re currently hiring interns for January 2022; check out the opportunity here!

A Special Thank You to Our Amazing Clients

Tiny Planet Digital Marketing Services Vancouver

Everything we’re proud of this year wouldn’t be possible without the amazing clients we’ve worked with in 2022. In working with so many great organizations of all types and sizes, we’ve been able to learn a lot from the projects we embarked upon this year. The opportunity to meet new people and try new things to help them reach their business goals is what motivates us every day to do our best for our clients. We want to thank all of you for the amazing year we’ve had and we can’t wait to continue our work in the new year!

Some of our favourite projects from this year!

Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet, British Columbia

Black Rock Oceanfront Resort

We began working with Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in January, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. With the main goal of increasing bookings during the shoulder seasons, we updated their SEO, crafted an effective Google Ads strategy, and designed a social media strategy to showcase their beautiful property.

City of Vancouver General Elections Campaign

City of Vancouver General Election

The City of Vancouver held their general election in October, and we were right by their side to help spread the word and increase voter turnout. The campaign focussed on addressing historically low voter turnout regions and demographics. Through informative and engaging content, we helped increase awareness around the election and ensured people knew the when, where, how, and why of voting.

Uncle Fatih's Pizza

Uncle Fatih’s Pizza

In 2022, we worked with Uncle Fatih’s Pizza to reimagine their social media presence. As an expanding franchise, spreading awareness and attracting new customers was their top priority. We overhauled their social media with new content and identified opportunities for promotions at their locations. Through social media and Google Ads, we also managed to drive more traffic to their website, increasing the number of orders they received.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Tiny Planet Digital!

A reminder that our offices will be closed from December 23rd to January 3rd, 2023. We can’t wait to get started again in the new year!
